
The Cherry Blossom Festival Hanami (Japanese "flowers look") is the Japanese tradition in every spring, to celebrate the beauty of the cherry trees in full bloom.
The Japanese cherry (sakura) flowers blow (according to the area in Japan) in late March to early May. It does not produce edible fruit, but has particularly large pink blossoms - and these flowerage is simply irresistible and invites everyone to take a walk.
At the beginning of the first blooms the Japanese meet under the cherry trees to picnic and celebrate the cherry blossom. Guests dine together, playing together and looking forward at a walk through the awakening spring.
