In May 2014, I discovered the small, at that time vacant store in the little street Kuhgasse, which is located in the middle of the old town of Halle (Saale) and not far from the market square.
Immediately I realized: This is a sign - this will be your store!
Because I originally studied agriculture and love fashion and jewelry with farm animals as a pattern or motif!
So it was clear from the beginning: At some point I have to make a jewelery collection with the theme "cow"! Now I can finally present you!
If you believe the night watchman, who always guides the tourists through the Kuhgasse on his city tour, the small road has its name therefore, that formerly the cows were driven through this alley to the cattle market on the market place. This is certainly true, because in the Kuhgasse settled urban dairy farmers - inevitably they drove their cows through the Kuhgasse.
The photos were taken in the 1980s by Dieter Kudlek - thank you, that I may use them! - and equipped by me with "ghost cows" from the Allgäu. Click on the photos to enlarge!
